Delmarva, a tradition of excellence....

Delmarva began in 1943 as a small millwork distributor owned and managed by W. B. Johnson. In 1947, Johnson brought his son-in-law, W. F. "Chic" Bounds, into the business. Under their guidance, a small sash and door company evolved into a major supplier and manufacturer of home building materials for the Eastern-Central part of the United States. Over the years, Delmarva grew steadily and with growth came new products and services for customers.

Bedded windows and doors were a Delmarva original concept. Delmarva also manufactured the first double-hung window unit with insulating glass and pioneered water repellent treatment on all exterior millwork - creating new industry standards. Because of our innovations, Delmarva products stand the test of time. And so do we. Today, a third generation takes pride in serving you. Everyone, from top management to our shop craftsmen, knows the value of a satisfied customer. That's why we've been around for 50 years. And that's why we'll continue to provide service equal to our quality products.
